Livelihood & Social Business
JFS-RESET, in partnership with the RESET Foundation, promotes sustainable rural development through integrated access to essential services, strengthening communities in various dimensions. The organization ensures access to clean and affordable energy, with solar panels and community charging systems, improving quality of life and productivity. Access to water is facilitated through integrated safe water projects, reducing collection time and improving public health. Access to education is promoted with innovative school programs that integrate agriculture and technical training.
SERVICES

ACCESS TO ENERGY
Strengthening communities with sustainable energy solutions.
JFS-RESET launched the JOÃO ENERGIA program in 2018, providing domestic solar systems (SHS) to vulnerable communities through a zero-interest loan model with phased payments. These kits provide lighting, allow for mobile phone charging, and facilitate students' study at night.
ACCESS TO WATER
Integrated community model for access to water.
Access to water in Mozambique, particularly in the rural areas where JFS-RESET operates, remains a fundamental and urgent need.
JFS-RESET has implemented an integrated model that demonstrates that access to safe water is an essential right, and that it is possible to promote health, equity, and sustainable development in remote areas of Mozambique when investing in locally adapted and participatory solutions.

ACCESS TO EDUCATION
Empowering Youth through Agricultural Education
The impact of RESET on the education sector is transforming how rural Mozambican schools prepare their students for life. Through a hands-on, community-based approach, schools teach, produce, and learn—using cotton as a pedagogical tool and a source of school income.
